Men’s Sex and Porn Addiction Recovery Group
Free, confidential support in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire and Buckhurst Hill, Essex
Struggling with porn use or compulsive sexual behaviour can feel isolating. Many men find themselves dealing with patterns they don’t fully understand, often in silence.
Our men’s recovery groups offer a space where you can talk openly, without judgement, alongside others who understand what it’s like to face these challenges.
You don’t have to manage this on your own.
What the groups offer
These are therapist-led groups that combine support, structure, and practical guidance.
Sessions begin with a check-in, giving you space to share how things have been since the last group, whether that’s progress, setbacks, or simply where you are right now.
From there, sessions may include:
- open discussion and shared experiences
- guided topics related to recovery
- practical strategies and tools
- psychoeducation to build understanding
- mindfulness and grounding practices
- structured exercises from recovery programmes
The aim is to support both understanding and change in a way that feels manageable and consistent over time.
Topics we may explore
- understanding the addiction cycle
- identifying triggers and patterns
- values and decision-making
- relationships and intimacy
- attachment and early experiences
- shame and self-perception
- building healthier habits and coping strategies

Alongside individual counselling, groups can offer:

- accountability and consistency
- shared learning and perspective
For many, it becomes an important part of maintaining change over time.
Who is the group for?

- are open to reflecting on patterns and making changes
