Accessibity
You don’t have to have everything worked out before you get in touch.
We’ll talk things through with you and help you take the next step forward.
No pressure to commit, just a clearer sense of what might help.
Support that meets you where you are
At Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, we believe that support should be accessible to everyone. We aim to offer a welcoming and inclusive experience across all of our services, and we’re always happy to discuss any adjustments you may need to feel comfortable and supported.
We offer support in Henley-on-Thames and Buckhurst Hill, as well as online, giving you flexibility in how and where you access support.
Buckhurst Hill Centre – Cherry Tree Rise
Our Buckhurst Hill centre offers easier physical access for those who may find stairs challenging.
- All therapy rooms are located on the ground floor
- Step-free access is available at the main entrance
- Client-only parking is available on the forecourt, with additional free parking nearby
Please note:
There is a small step up to the toilet at No. 2 Station Parade, and toilet facilities are not currently wheelchair accessible.
If this may present a difficulty, please get in touch. We’ll do our best to support you and can explore alternatives such as online sessions or other arrangements.
Henley-on-Thames Centre – Hart Street
Our Henley centre is located within a Grade II listed building, which offers a calm and characterful setting but also comes with some physical limitations.
- Therapy rooms are located on the first and second floors
- Access is via stairs only (no lift)
- There are multiple staircases, uneven floors, and low ceilings in places
Because of this, the Henley Centre is not suitable for wheelchair users and may be challenging for those with limited mobility, balance difficulties, or certain sensory sensitivities.
Other Options
If attending in person is not suitable, we offer:
- Online counselling and support
- Low-cost online options, where appropriate
- Appointments at our Buckhurst Hill centre (ground floor access)
- Home visits (depending on location and service)
We’re always happy to talk through what might work best for you.
Looking Ahead
In Summer 2026, we will be opening a new centre in Buckhurst Hill with full wheelchair access and wheelchair-friendly facilities, designed to make our services more accessible for everyone.
Sensory and Individual Needs
Accessibility means different things to different people. If you have sensory sensitivities, health conditions, anxiety about certain environments, or anything else that may affect your experience, please let us know.
While we can’t change every aspect of the buildings, we will always do our best to support you in finding an option that works.
