Specialist Sex & Porn Addiction Support Without Judgement
If you’re here, something probably doesn’t feel right.
You might be struggling with your own behaviour.
You might feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break.
Or you might be trying to make sense of the impact this has had on your relationship.
Whatever has brought you here, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to work this out on your own.
At Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Henley-on-Thames and Buckhurst Hill, we offer specialist support for people affected by sex and porn addiction, both individuals and partners. We’ve been running this service since 2019, creating a space where this can be talked about openly, safely, and without judgement.
What This Service Is
We provide professional, confidential support for sex addiction and porn addiction in the UK, both in-person and online.
You might be here because you’re:
- Struggling to control sexual behaviour
- Concerned about your use of pornography
- Hiding things from a partner
- Feeling shame, guilt, or loss of control
- Trying to understand betrayal or rebuild trust
You don’t need to have a label for what’s going on.
If it’s affecting you or your relationship, it’s worth talking about.
Why We Set This Up
We set up this service because this is an area people often struggle to talk about, even in therapy.
There can be:
- Shame
- Fear of judgement
- Uncertainty about what “counts” as addiction
- Confusion about where to get the right help
Too often, people are left trying to manage this on their own.
We wanted to create something different, a service that understands the complexity of this work and offers the right kind of support from the very beginning.
How We Work (This Is Where We’re Different)
We don’t just offer therapy.
We help guide you into the right kind of support.
When you reach out, you don’t need to know exactly what you need.
We will:
- Listen to what’s going on
- Help you make sense of it
- Recommend the most appropriate support
- Stay alongside you as things begin to shift
This might include counselling, group support, or a combination of both.
You don’t have to navigate this alone or try to figure out which therapist is “right” — we help hold that process with you.
What We Offer
We provide a combination of support options, recognising that recovery often needs more than one approach:
Men’s Recovery Group
A space for men working through sex and porn addiction to speak openly, understand patterns, and move towards change with peer support.
Partners' Support Group
Support for partners affected by betrayal, secrecy, and emotional impact, helping you process what’s happened and begin to rebuild stability.
One-to-One Counselling
Individual support for both those experiencing addiction and those affected by it.
A Safe, Non-Judgemental Space
We understand how difficult it can be to talk about this.
You may feel:
- Embarrassed
- Ashamed
- Unsure how you’ll be perceived
Our approach is calm, professional, and non-judgemental.
We’re used to having these conversations — and nothing you say will shock us.
Everything you share is treated with care and confidentiality.
Accessible Support: In-Person or Online
We offer counselling:
- In Essex
- In Oxfordshire
- Online across the UK
This means you can access support in a way that feels manageable and private.
You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out
Many people delay reaching out because they’re not sure:
- If it’s “serious enough”
- What kind of help they need
- Whether things can actually change
You don’t need to have those answers yet.
You just need a place to start.
